The Motion Picture & Television Fund is committed to providing entertainment community members and their families with quality medical care. Since our health centers opened, we have prided ourselves in offering a unique combination of top-notch health care and flexibility of service geared specifically to the demands of people in the entertainment industry. And, since MPTF has been the industry’s premier charity for over 85 years, we understand these demands like no other provider of care.
MPTF health centers treat individuals age 13 and over. Referrals for specialized care such as cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrical care, and more are available through your MPTF primary care provider. For referrals to a pediatrician please call Customer Service at (800) 876-8320. Getting a referral to a network specialist, a pediatrician, and/or hospital will significantly reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for covered services.
If you do not have a primary care provider, please call your nearest MPTF health center an we will help you select one. If you already have a doctor, please call the health center phone number for an appointment. We will always attempt to schedule your appointment at the soonest time available. Some seasons are busier than others in the health centers so it is best to schedule your appointment as far in advance as possible.

For Urgent Needs
It is best to call first thing in the morning and request to schedule a same day appointment and we will attempt to accommodate you. You may experience a longer wait time, but every attempt will be made to get you in to see your primary care provider as soon as possible. Although we try to make accommodations for the unpredictable nature of working in the entertainment industry, we cannot guarantee the length of your wait time if you walk in without a scheduled appointment.
