Employee Eligibility
Employees scheduled to work at least 24 hours per week are
eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 continuous
days of employment. As an example, if you begin work on July 15, you
will be eligible to participate in benefits on September 1st. During
the employment process information regarding dependent coverage will be
provided.
Medical Coverage
MPTF offers eligible full-time and part-time employees their
choice of two HMO plans or a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization): The
Industry Advantage Health Plan (TIAHP) offers an HMO and PPO, and
Kaiser Permanente is an HMO.
Dental Coverage
MPTF offers eligible full-time and part-time employees the choice
of two dental options: a dental HMO and a PPO dental plan through Delta
Dental.
Vision Coverage
MPTF offers vision coverage for eligible full-time and part-time employees through United Healthcare Vision.
