MPTF Volunteer Guild

The MPTF Volunteer Guild was established in 1966 to enhance the quality of life of the residents of our Woodland Hills campus.

Guild volunteers can be seen on campus daily, assisting MPTF staff, patients and residents with a wide variety of important services. More than 100 men and women are available to assist patients and residents. Active retirees, current industry members and their families, people of all ages and with an endless variety of skills are here every day making a difference.

Additionally, there are opportunities with the Junior Volunteer Program and The Pastoral Volunteer Program.

And remember, we understand the entertainment industry better than anyone. Volunteer between projects or when your show goes on hiatus. Our community of active industry veterans is waiting to welcome you!

This restriction was established to protect the privacy of MPTF members and residents and continues today as a primary goal.

In addition, Guild members are required to pay for their uniform, and the Guild bylaws require that members contribute:

  • A minimum of 75 hours of service annually.
  • Actively participate in monthly Guild meetings.
  • Pay nominal annual membership dues.

Orientation is mandatory prior to active participation.

MPTF Junior Volunteer Program

The MPTF Junior Volunteer Program offers the opportunity for individuals, 14 years or older who do not work in the entertainment industry, to give service to others while being exposed to the many varied careers in the health care field.

The experience gained through training while serving residents provides growth and personal satisfaction for the volunteer. Providing an extra pair of helping hands and a smile can make a resident's day.

Orientation is mandatory prior to active participation.
